Founded In 1996 by Mr Graham Lambert, The Taekwondo Centres Of Excellence is a Doncaster Based Martial Arts Club with students attending both Taekwondo and Kickboxing.
Teaching the ITF style of Taekwondo to the highest standards of discipline, performance and Korean terminology.
The club teaches to over 100 sudents on weekly basis and have over 50 students at black belt level.

The TKD Centres of Excellence are part of the Independent Martial Arts Association

Independent Martial Arts Association (IMA) was founded by Mr Kevin Summers 5th Dan & Mr Graham Lambert 4th Dan in 2006. The aim of Independent Martial Arts is to provide a service to Tae Kwon Do practitioners in the UK that unifies and represents itself at the highest possible standards achievable. With years of experience behind them both Mr Summers and Mr Lambert are able to promote and deliver the martial arts experience with innovative and challenging methods. The system is based on the ITF from which capsulates the root of there knowledge. The methods of training today are crucial to the representation in the future of a martial art that has sadly been continually eroded and diluted over the past 10 years. We hope that you will join us in our quest for perfection, above all enabling excellence within ourselves. IMA sets out to provide: - Quality martial Arts - Seminars, gradings, competitions - Recognised qualifications - Planning and development - Enabling Excellence program - Peace and Harmony - Structured syllabus Mr Lambert and Mr Summers would like to thank Grandmaster Hee il Cho 9th Dan for his guidance and knowledge in there journey so far in martial arts. Grandmaster Cho has steered them both to where they are today. Both Instructors are truly honoured to have been part of AIMAA and will always be in debt to the best Tae kwon Do Grandmaster of all time. Moving forward, IMA is an organisation with a thirst for knowledge diversifying and learning from other martial arts disciplines as well as having its own wealth of experience. ABOUT TAE KWON DO
Tae Kwon Do is a Korean art of self-defence, developed
from a number of Korean arts like Soo Bak and Tae Kyon.
These date back over 2000 years. The best hand movements of other styles were also added.
The name Tae kwon Do was invented in 1955 by its
Founder , Major General Choi Hong, HI 9th Dan Black Belt.

About Mr Graham Lambert

Mr Graham Lambert has trained for the past 16 years (with a break of 2 years to become a qualified fitness instructor) as a martial artist.

In October 1997 Mr Lambert was presented with an honorary award for his dedication, service and outstanding contribution to the action international martial arts association. He holds qualifications in fitness instruction to RSA standard and has gained admiration within both fitness and martial arts circles. He is noted for his hard work, commitment, loyalty and professionalism. He also demands the same in return.

In November 2004 he acheived 4th Degree Black Belt recognition in Hawaii from Grandmaster Hee Il Cho. He also received recognition for his work in the 1st open Championships as a referee and judge and was commended by Grandmaster Hee Il Cho for his hard work and dedication through the whole event.

He has dedicated himself to the students within his schools and prides himself on the standards they uphold. Being a great believer in traditional Tae Kwon Do, Mr Lambert ensures that all his students are like himself, dedicated to this style of Martial Arts, enduring not only hard work but also enjoyment both physically and mentally. He believes that by giving himself to others by teaching and knowledge that he will gain hi ultimate goal, that his students will also become successful Black Belts.
